It’s not consistent, I just reloaded my room and now the my edits are stored (sometimes have to do the edit 2 or 3 times).

Yikes – that’s odd. I can’t reproduce this. Are you alone in the room? (I.e. is there now other traffic on the annotation that might intervene?)

Ok, thanks. I’ll test on different platforms. I just tested on Mac, with Chrome/Firefox/Safari, and all seemed fine. But will also re-test on Windows and Linux again. (I tested with a Presentation Manifest v2. I doubt the type of image would make a difference, but you never know…)
Just to confirm: was this an intermittent issue, or is this consistently happening for you right now?

It seems the edits where stored, but this wasn’t reflected in the GUI. When I load the manifest in an IIIF viewer I see my multiple edits!!

Ok, that’s definitely odd. I know I had this problem previously, but it should be fixed since several weeks. I’ll re-check. But could you try clearing your browser cache and reloading the page, just to be sure?

Ah wait - I saw it happening just now. Not sure why, but I’ll investigate.
I made a few changes concerning the save/update issue. I can no longer reproduce it on my end now, so fingers crossed ;-)

Is the manifest above one that was created in liiive, and then re-imported? That a case I haven’t fully worked through yet, TBH.

Hi @Bob Coret, so the bad news first: sorry about those comments at the wrong targets. Those are not recoverable per se, so you’d need to re-do them. Same for annotations that have multiple comments, apologies.
But now for the good news: I finally figured out what’s going on. It explains both the discarded changes, as well as misplaced bodies–and should now be fixed! (As always, I tiny bug in the code, with big consequences.) Thanks for bearing with me :-)

I cleaned up the downloaded manifest by hand so it’s usefull together via Annona:
